This program is designed to assist the professional nurses in medical-surgical units to develop critical thinking skills in recognizing changes in patients' condition and prevent major complications.

Program Objectives:

■ Describes the purpose of Rapid Response Team
■ Identifies critical thinking skills in recognizing changes in patients' conditions such as ACS, stroke, and its complications
■ Identifies steps in dealing with a potential medical crisis
■ Discusses nursing skills in a variety of RRT clinical scenarios.

The target audience are Professional Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses working in Medical-Surgical Units.
