The new contracts, which were approved within days of each other and were negotiated by approximately 50 workers from the two Tenet-owned hospitals, invest in caregivers and quality jobs for the South Florida community.

martha_jackson_retiree_feat.jpgIt is appropriate, although coincidence, that the 1199SEIU Retirees Division launched a new Hudson Valley New York Chapter in May, the month we celebrate Older Americans Month, National Nurses Week and Mother’s Day. After interviewing with many 1199 political activists in the region, Sean was enthusiastically endorsed by the 1199SEIU Executive Council.
