Capital/Hudson Valley

This region is part of Health Systems 5/6. It includes the northern suburbs of New York City on both sides of the Hudson River—Westchester and Rockland counties—as well as the rural and semi-rural Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Greene Counties up the Hudson to the capital city of Albany, and as far north as the southern Adirondacks and as far west as Gloversville in the eastern Mohawk Valley. The Maryland/DC Division was formed in 2005 out of the merger of the former SEIU Locals 1199E-DC and 1998 with 1199SEIU. Read More »

 

Massachusetts

1199SEIU’s newest Division was formed out of the merger of the former SEIU Locals 2020 and 9 with 1199SEIU in October 2005. The Massachusetts Division represents over 12,000 members—including 1,400 RNs. They work at 25 hospitals, 33 nursing homes, five homecare agencies, and six clinics. Read More »
