One year ago this week, Republican leaders in Congress passed their disastrous American Health Care Act (AHCA, aka Trumpcare). Congressional Republicans John Faso, Elise Stefanik and Claudia Tenney supported that bill, as well as many versions after that. If that bill had passed the Senate, it would have gutted Medicaid, ripped healthcare from an estimated 24 million Americans, increased healthcare costs by as much as 20 percent, and put millions of individuals out of work.

Radio and print ads are the first shot in the launch of an on-the-ground campaign to educate and identify “healthcare voters, ” that begins this weekend, May 4/5.

Healthcare voters across New York and the country are signing cards committing to educate other voters on what would have been the real cost if Republicans in Congress had won full repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and how their ongoing efforts to sabotage healthcare and Medicaid are still a very real threat.
