Retired, but active! 1199SEIU’s retirees play a vital role in our union’s collective bargaining, organizing and political campaigns. The union’s Retirees Division works to help mobilize retirees so they can continue the mission of fighting for quality care and good jobs for all.

The union’s Retirees Division is the fastest-growing division of our union, with chapters in New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, Florida and North and South Carolina. Some 94,000 1199SEIU retirees participate in numerous educational programs, activities and other events throughout their states. Check the calendar to the right to learn more about upcoming activities. If you are looking for information about your pension or benefits, please contact the Retirees Division at 646.473.8761 or at retirees@1199.org
