On September 26, members took part in the annual Brides’ March
in Upper Manhattan in honor of Gladys Richart, who was killed on her wedding day by a jealous ex- boyfriend. Women wearing wedding dresses marched from Manhattan to the Bronx alongside community allies and elected officials to uplift all those struggling against domestic violence, which continues to plague our communities.
