Thank You Slideshow

November 30, 2020

This holiday season, I'm more grateful than ever to be part of our union family with you. THANK YOU for showing what it means to be essential. Thank you for cleaning rooms, making food, monitoring vitals, administering treatments, handling health insurance and appointments, and all that you do to keep our communities going throughout this crisis. Thank you for supporting each other on and off the job - for negotiating contracts, for voicing and resolving issues, and for holding each other up during incredibly difficult times.

There’s no doubt about it; your work has saved lives. Healthcare workers have never been more needed in and respected by our communities, and now’s the time to stand together to demand that we get what we need and deserve - great pay, safe workplaces, and healthy communities.

That’s why I also want to THANK YOU for all you did to elect our new leaders, from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on the national level to Janeese Lewis George and Brandon Scott on a local level. These leaders will make it easier for us to get what we need and have already started working with us to do so.

I am thankful for each and every one of you, and I wish you and all your loved ones a happy and safe holidays!

In Solidarity,
