Healthcare Workers, Community Organizations, and Elected Officials Join National Day of Action Rallying Against Federal Cuts to Critical Programs
July 23, 2025
Families First Events Happening Across the Country this Saturday will draw attention to more than $4 Trillion Dollars in Cuts To Essential Care Programs
Rochester, NY - On Saturday, July 26, healthcare workers and community organizations in Rochester will join thousands of working families across all 50 states in a powerful national day of action to demand care—not cuts. Across the country, the “Families First” mobilization brings together workers, parents, immigrants, patients, and allies to expose a $4.5 trillion theft from working people, designed to slash healthcare, education, food aid, disaster relief, and immigrant protections—while handing massive tax breaks to billionaires and corporations and funding mass deportations by ICE.
In Rochester, a rally will be held outside the Federal Building to dramatize the damage and show what families actually need: safe schools, food on the table, climate protection, immigration protections, and healthcare for all.
