“The caregivers of 1199SEIU express our heartfelt condolences to the family of Congressman Donald Payne, Jr., who led a life serving New Jersey’s working families.  From his native city of Newark to the halls of Congress, Rep. Payne was a staunch advocate for healthcare, civil rights and economic justice.  He is someone who 1199SEIU members could count on to stand by our side in the fight for quality care and good jobs in our communities.
