From Massachusetts to Florida, 1199SEIU healthcare workers are fighting for and winning political victories. From legislation to elections, these victories forever change the lives of our patients, clients and families. Union dues are never used for electoral activity. It is our 1199SEIU Political Action Fund that we use to help elect pro-labor leaders who stand with us and our communities and craft legislation and policy to enact positive change. We are asking every 1199er to join hundreds of thousands of their brothers and sisters and contribute to our Federal Political Action Fund.
In addition to our Federal Political Action Fund, our members’ contributions are shared with state-based Political Action Funds, including the 1199 SEIU New York State Political Action Fund, the 1199 SEIU MA PAC (for Massachusetts) and the 1199SEIU Florida Political Committee. These funds help ensure that we can elect leaders at every level of government who support healthcare and healthcare workers.
