Syracuse, NY – 1199SEIU in collaboration with the Syracuse Educational Opportunity Center is pleased to announce the grand opening of the EITC Free Tax Center at 100 New St. in Syracuse, NY on Monday, February 3, 2014. The EITC Free Tax Center will serve as the new and expanded location for the 1199SEIU EITC Free Tax Preparation Program now celebrating its 11th year.

Last year in Syracuse, the 1199SEIU Free Tax Program completed over 1020 tax returns and put more than $2,320,000 back in the pockets of our hard working members through the Earned Income Tax Credit Program. 1199SEIU members, family, and friends are now invited to make your 2014 appointment at our new location and have their taxes prepared by our certified professional tax preparers for free!
