NY Presbyterian Hospital’s policy of vaccination or termination is unacceptable and unnecessary. We’ve seen and felt the devastation that COVID-19 can cause. The vaccine is an important tool to help us move forward, yet deep-seated fears held by some healthcare workers should not be disregarded. 1199 members remain committed to educational outreach. We will not allow NYPH and other institutions to take away our choice by mandating our members to take the vaccine.
