Upstate, NY – Nearly 8,000 hospital workers at Kaleida Health are set to begin voting on a 3-year agreement next week. Just two hours before a strike authorization vote was set to begin earlier this month, unionized Hospital workers at Upstate Western New York’s largest private sector employer reached a 3-year tentative agreement, canceling their strike authorization vote.
Upstate, NY – About two dozen union healthcare workers at Catholic Health’s St. Joseph’s Campus, unanimously voted to ratify a 4-year labor deal today. Workers are represented by 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, the largest healthcare workers union in the country.
