The Upstate/WNY Division of 1199SEIU is the voice of healthcare employees in western, central, and northern New York State. The region includes more than 23,000 workers at 29 hospitals, 70 long-term care facilities and clinics, a home care agency, a physicians practice, and a business clerical group. Members of 1199SEIU's Upstate/WNY division work in 26 counties throughout Upstate New York, from the Adirondacks to Niagara Falls, and include registered nurses, service workers, hospital workers, professionals, technical workers, nursing home workers, and home care.
