1199SEIU members are ramping up visibility in the city of Boston. Twelve 1199SEIU members working at Boston Medical Center, Morton Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital were featured in a new campaign of subway advertisements at the Tufts Medical Center MBTA station. The ads show healthcare workers from all parts of the hospital team and encourage non-union workers to organize. Twelve reasons, including higher wages, free college tuition, and affordable health insurance were listed as key factors for joining 1199SEIU.
