New York Fight For $15

In 2016, 1199SEIU healthcare and homecare workers stood united and WON the fight for $15 in New York State. By 2018, all workers in New York City will make $15/hour and other parts of the state will follow soon after. Want to know if you will get a raise this year? Use the calculator on this page.

Thanks to the leadership by Governor Andrew Cuomo, we now have a path to $15 in New York after this historic victory. This victory shows the true power of 1199SEIU members standing together to create major change. For almost two years we marched, rallied, pressed our local elected officials, and never let up. Now we are on a path to a true living wage!
