About 6,000 Florida hospital workers represented by 1199SEIU Florida at HCA and Tenet-affiliated hospitals will see an increase in their pay this holiday season thanks to their union contracts.
All Tenet employees represented by 1199SEIU Florida at seven Florida hospitals are receiving an across-the-board pay increases in 2014, with six of those facilities receiving raises in January and February. Some nurses in five HCA-affiliated hospitals will receive market-rate increases to help the hospitals stay competitive in surrounding areas.
